About Project Green Circle

Project Green Circle is dedicated to transforming mental health support for young Nepali professionals, making it accessible, inclusive, and empowering. Through counseling, workshops, and innovative multilingual resources, we provide holistic services to individuals in both rural and urban areas of Nepal and abroad.

Guided by our values of accessibility, inclusivity, empowerment, and innovation, we aim to break mental health stigma and create safe, culturally sensitive spaces where everyone can access the care they need to thrive personally and professionally.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide accessible and inclusive mental health wellbeing services through counseling (in person or online), workshops, innovative resources and toolkits for Nepali young professionals living in both rural and urban landscapes within the country as well as abroad. We aim to make mental health support, in its truest sense, a right, not a privilege.

Our Vision

We envision becoming a leading in-person and digital mental health well-being company for young Nepali professionals from a wide range of diverse industries. Our goal is to ensure accessible, innovative, and inclusive counseling services and products.

We envision a society in which mental health concerns or difficulties are not a taboo topic and those in need can access appropriate and affordable services with ease.

Our Values

Our four values illustrate how we operate and function day to day: accessibility, inclusivity, empowerment and innovation.

  • Accessibility: We are committed to provide accessible Mental health services to young Nepali professionals, both living in the country and abroad, ensuring that our holistic support is reached in-person and through our digital space (Telephone, Website and Apps). We understand the limitations that a singular language can impose on various populations, therefore, we strive to broaden access by providing multilingual counseling services.
  • Inclusivity: We respect the cultural difference and diversity of Nepal. So, we thrive to create an inclusive environment for our clients, staffs, and stakeholders regardless of their caste, class, gender, sexual orientation, disability, and age.
  • Empowerment: We aim to empower both our clients and staff/members by practicing acceptance and providing safe spaces to enhance their mental health wellbeing through support, education, training, workshops, supervision and resources.
  • Innovation: We continuously seek to develop innovative evidence-based and culturally sensitive toolkits and resources that empower young professionals in their mental health journey to deal with everyday work and life stress.
